My delicious baby♪

My baby

There is a beautiful grand piano at home, which I dearly love.

Thanks to my parents, I have trained in playing the piano and flute so that music has become such an essential part of my life.

When I was 16, knowing SO little English, I left home and went to the United States on a exchange program. And music became my best friend. Because of music, I could connect with many people and things, and even deeply with myself. Exactly music crossed the border in so many ways! Moreover, when I was playing music, I was taken somewhere else. yes, music works that way too. Am I okay? Well, I hope so! Haven’t you ever experienced when you totally forgot about the time or everything else and so zoned into what you were doing?

In a psychology term, this state is called

“Flow”

It is developed by Mihály Csíkszentmihályi, an American psychologist. It is the moment when humans feel values and happiness as they entirely concentrate on, forget time and devote to trying to build something of value. Why is that? I think in that moment, our passion, perception/experiences,and/or values are aligned with our action.  If so, in that moment, we are savoring the beautiful glow of our authentic self. This is the flow state, and isn’t this also a delicious moment?

What are your delicious flow moments?

With love, hope and gratitude from my heart to yours, as always.

Mami
